Exploring the relationship with food and body

Nutrition Counseling

Helping clients explore their relationship with food and with their body in a safe, judgement-free zone where no foods are bad and all bodies are good

We meet the individual where they are in their recovery journey in order to create a safe place to explore and learn about their eating habits.

Every individual is different. We all have different life experiences, different dietary preference and restrictions, different bodies and different goals.

Our priority in nutrition counseling is person-centered, taking into account the individual’s lifestyle and change readiness so that we can get clear on a path forward that make sense for their unique situation. We take a collaborative problem solving approach, emphasizing that all foods can fit and that people can be healthy at any size.

In nutrition counseling, we support clients through meals and snacks, educate individuals in nutrition, and explore their relationship with food and their body.

supporting health at any size
sound familiar?

Are you...

So preoccupied with your eating that it’s hard to manage other areas of your life?

Feeling shame about your eating pattern because you don’t know how to break the cycle?

Avoiding social events because you feel limited by your eating pattern and availability of “acceptable” foods?

Rigid in your belief of which foods are “right” and “wrong” to consume?

No matter where you are on your journey, we can create a healthy and attainable path forward through compassionate nutrition counseling.

You Deserve:

to not have to judge foods

We take the approach of “all foods can fit.” There’s no such thing as a good food or a bad food. We can make any food work in your eating pattern.

to ditch diet culture

We revolt against diet culture and to lead others to a life of peace with their body and food. We believe in health at every size and encourage intuitive eating.

To embrace your body at any size

We work slowly to encourage body neutrality first, then body acceptance and eventually body positivity.

to live your life on your terms

So many folks feel like they can’t do certain things – dinners with friends, birthday parties, etc. – because of their eating patterns. We believe you deserve those things if you want them.
