Art Therapy
For individuals navigating medical or mental health issues, as well as those on a journey toward emotional, creative, and spiritual enrichment
Art Therapy utilizes the creative process of making art to improve and enhance mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
Art therapy serves as a versatile tool in achieving personal and relational objectives. It facilitates cognitive and sensory-motor enhancement, fosters self-esteem and self-awareness, nurtures emotional resilience, stimulates insight, refines social competencies, and addresses conflicts and distress, while also contributing to broader societal and ecological shifts.
Utilizing integrative approaches, art therapy engages individuals holistically, encompassing their mental, physical, and spiritual dimensions, surpassing the confines of verbal expression. Through kinesthetic, sensory, perceptual, and symbolic channels, it offers diverse avenues for communication, transcending language barriers. Visual and symbolic expressions become vehicles for personal growth, community empowerment, and societal evolution.

How It Works
art is therapy
Making things and expressing ourselves nonverbally is therapeutic. It’s also great for makers who are really burnt out and feeling the pressure to simply make art for the sake of making art.
art as therapy
Art can act as a catalyst for more traditional psychotherapy. It works well in conjunction with EMDR because we can express and heal from trauma without having to relive every detail of it.
Our Art Therapists
Art therapists are master-level clinicians who work with people of all ages across a broad spectrum of practice. Guided by ethical standards and scope of practice, their education and supervised training prepares them for culturally proficient work with diverse populations in a variety of settings.
