challenges you might be facing:

Communication Issues

It feels impossible to connect with your child. Whether they’ve shut down completely or every conversation turns into an argument.

Emotional & Social Difficulties

You are watching your child struggle with big emotions, anxiety, or friendship problems & you are unsure how to support them through their emotional challenges while building their confidence and social skills in age-appropriate, effective ways.

You're feeling hopeless.

Parenting doesn’t come with a manual, and it’s normal to feel overwhelmed or like nothing you try is working. You’re not alone, and it’s not too late.

Class 01.

Building Connection, Resilience, and Emotional Understanding

In this class, we’ll explore supportive approaches to nurturing emotional well-being in children and building meaningful connections that work for all ages—from helping a 6-year-old manage big feelings to supporting a teen through emotional ups and downs. You’ll learn practical tools for setting healthy boundaries, responding with empathy, and navigating everyday parenting challenges through real-life scenarios, mindfulness exercises, and conversations tailored to your unique family.

Class Breakdown:
Lesson 01

Why parenting today feels harder

Parenting today comes with unique challenges our own parents never faced—from managing screen time and social media to navigating a world that feels less predictable and more overwhelming than ever before.

Lesson 02

The Good Inside Approach

The Good Inside approach recognizes that all children are inherently good, and challenging behaviors are simply their way of communicating unmet needs or big feelings they can’t yet handle. This framework focuses on understanding what your child is really trying to tell you while setting firm boundaries with empathy rather than punishment.

Lesson 03

Unconditional Love & Validation

Learn about why children need unconditional love and validation to develop healthy self-worth and emotional security, and how this foundation helps them become more confident, resilient, and emotionally regulated. Discover the difference between accepting your child unconditionally while still setting firm boundaries on behavior.

Lesson 04

Structure & Understanding

Learn about why children need clear structure and understanding to feel safe and thrive, and how predictable routines and empathetic responses help them navigate their world with confidence. Discover how to create age-appropriate boundaries that provide security while still allowing for growth and independence.

Lesson 05

Healthy Modeling

Discover how your own responses to stress, conflict, and daily challenges become your child’s blueprint for handling life’s ups and downs. Understand how intentional modeling of healthy boundaries, communication, and self-care teaches children more effectively than any lecture or consequence ever could.

Lesson 06

Multiplicity

Learn about how more than one truth can exist at the same time—like how you can feel frustrated with your child’s behavior while still loving them deeply. Discover how modeling this complexity helps children understand that having big feelings doesn’t make them bad people, and that relationships can hold multiple emotions simultaneously.

KIND, GENUINE, VALIDATING

Hi, I'm Natalie, your coach.

I am a licensed independent counselor with 28 years experience in the mental health field and have developed a deep passion for coaching parents and strengthening family connections. I enjoy working with all age groups and populations, providing a safe environment to facilitate supportive coaching relationships because I believe everyone is a person of worth. In my coaching I meet parents where they are at in their journey and guide them in developing practical parenting skills, with a special focus on helping families navigate the complexities of raising children in today’s world. I use evidence-based strategies from Cognitive Behavioral approaches along with polyvagal theory, and fell in love with Dialectical Behavior skills in 2009, applying these tools to help families communicate more effectively and build stronger bonds.
