Life can feel overwhelming, and sometimes we find ourselves repeating patterns that no longer serve us. Whether you’re feeling stuck in cycles of negative thinking, struggling with overwhelming emotions, battling substance use, or simply feeling disconnected from the life you want to live, know that change is possible.
My Story
I specialize in working with adults navigating depression, anxiety, and addiction. I believe healing can begin when you feel safe, heard, and truly understood—and creating that space is at the heart of my practice. What brought me to the field of social work is deeply personal. Like many of the clients I serve, I have navigated significant challenges in my own life and witnessed their impact on my family. Our experiences with trauma, including addiction, assault, and abuse, have given me profound insight into the courage it takes to seek help and the healing that’s possible when you have the right support.
These lived experiences don’t define me, but they have shaped my deep empathy and understanding of what it means to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about the path forward. They’ve also shown me the incredible resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of compassionate, skilled support. I chose to become a Licensed Social Worker because I believe that our most difficult experiences—while painful—can become sources of strength, wisdom, and connection. I’m passionate about helping others who may be walking similar paths, not because I have all the answers, but because I understand the journey and know that healing and growth are absolutely possible.
My therapeutic style is compassionate, personalized, and down-to-earth. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, while always tailoring our work to fit your unique story, cultural background, and personal goals. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are—without judgment—and working at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Our therapeutic relationship will be built on trust, respect, and genuine collaboration. I’ll provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore difficult emotions and experiences safely.
Healing doesn’t stop when our session ends. I’ll work with you to develop practical tools and strategies you can use in your daily life, helping you build resilience and maintain the positive changes we create together. You’re the expert on your own life—I’m here to provide support, insight, and evidence-based guidance as you move toward greater wellbeing, authenticity, and fulfillment.
