DBT Family & Friends Classes

Originally developed for family and friends of individuals in our DBT program, we have enhanced our program to include classes, small group sessions, and personalized coaching. Our expanded curriculum aims to provide additional support for loved ones seeking to deepen their understanding, strengthen connections, and effectively support individuals struggling with BPD or other emotion dysregulation challenges.

DBT Skills Workshop

Participants will learn foundational mindfulness techniques, interpersonal effectiveness strategies to improve communication and conflict resolution, and emotion regulation methods to understand and manage both personal and others’ emotional responses. The course concludes with practical tools for increasing distress tolerance and applying Radical Acceptance to minimize suffering. 

Parenting Workshop

Raising and Validating our Children

Designed for parents and caregivers of children aged 12 years or younger, participants will explore contemporary parenting strategies compared to past approaches, focusing on the core needs of children and fostering a positive mindset. The course covers practical problem-solving techniques, mindfulness, validation, and resilience. Key topics include understanding emotions, setting boundaries, and creating a safe, validating environment. The workshop emphasizes the importance of self-care and managing self-defeating thoughts
